Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FableAstro (the "Service"), including the iOS and Android apps and this website. By using the Service, you agree to them.

1. The Service

FableAstro provides astrology readings, natal charts, compatibility views, journaling, and related features. Content is generated from astronomical calculations and interpretive writing. It is meant for reflection and entertainment.

2. Not professional advice

FableAstro is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or relationship advice, and it should never substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional or your own. Do not make significant life decisions based solely on a reading.

3. Your account

You can use FableAstro without an account. Optional sign-in with Google, Apple, or a phone number exists only to back up and restore your charts and journal. If you sign in, you are responsible for the account you connect and for keeping access to it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You may sign out at any time; your local data remains on your device.

4. Your content

Journal entries, birth data, and people you add belong to you. We claim no ownership of them. If you enable cloud backup, you grant us the limited right to store and transmit that data solely to provide the backup and sync service to you.

5. Other people's data

When you add another person's birth details or match contacts, you are responsible for having an appropriate basis to use that information. Do not add someone's details to harass, stalk, or harm them.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

FableAstro offers an optional paid tier ("Plus") through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Prices are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account settings; refunds are handled by the store under its policies. Existing free-tier features will not be moved behind the paywall.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not reverse engineer, resell, or scrape the Service.
• Do not attempt to access other users' data.
• Do not use the Service to violate any law.

8. Intellectual property

The FableAstro name, artwork, design, and writing are ours or our licensors' and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The Swiss Ephemeris is used under license from Astrodienst AG.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard on accuracy, but we do not warrant that readings, calculations, or the Service itself will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FableAstro and its creators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms. Sections 4 and 8–10 survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we will note it in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
